Savoy is a real gem among the Bo Vallon hotels. Hiding behind the tropical trees it is in the middle of everything you might need: beach, shops, local restaurants, and yet inside it is tranquil and quiet. Treated like royalty by all the staff. From Tessar and Mi in the Gecko Bar, and all the staff in the main pool area. At breakfast, we were very well looked after by Charles and others. We got a junior suite room so the room is good.
The location is not very convenient for local food as there were limited restaurants and no cafe nearby. You will need to have breakfast in the hotel itself.
The staff were lovely and the spa was fantastic. Rooms were spacious and clean.
The food was lacking for the most part - not very flavourful and bland.
Abdelfattah and Iman were really kind and helpful with us. Best stay here in Seychelles

On one of the mornings, a staff member entered our room without knocking. It turned out that, by design, all doors in the hotel can be opened by staff using a key card, even if they are locked from the inside. They told us they would move us to a room with a working lock, but by the end of the day, they informed us that they couldn't do it.
