This place has a real novel feel- our room was right at the front with a beautiful ocean view- somewhere we would never normally stay. The room and bathroom were huge and spacious and the bed was so comfortable - one of the best we've had on our travels over 6 months. There were lots of little luxuries you appreciate when away from home: two pillows each, plug sockets and light switches by the bed...
On arrival we were asked to pay extra (1500 lkr) each day for the AC as "the unit was installed after our booking was made" (2 weeks prior). On inspection, it seemed like the unit had been there for a while. Hidden costs should be made clear prior to arrival. So this is a little gem of a place. Right up n the beach, good cocktails and good food. Rooms are basic, but good and clean. Good shower and hot water which can be rare in some places in Sri Lanka. I could have sat on the swing for a week and just watch the see. Great location. Was able to park. And Dinesh and his staff were lovely. We would definitely come back.
Not much, but Dinesh is working through the teething problems. New staff and busy days, so service can be slower, but you get this in Sri Lanka. What Dinesh is very good at is making your smile. He works extremely hard, and as the season progresses I’m sure his service is going to be fab !
Great sunset views, quiet, yet near to everything you need. The food was excellent and different to most of the other restaurants. A good vibe all round! Danesh was very helpful and attentive. All the staff were great too. Sorry we can’t mention all your names …. but thank you !
No private space outside the room, but spoke the owner, who said he would address this. We are sure he will 😃
Very nice localisation by the ocean. The room was big and clean. Fair accommodation for that price.

food was exceptionally good although sometimes when up against the clock (as excursions planned) breakfast was a little slow. None the less I would definitely return to this property
Property is in the very best location right on the beach & in walking distance to the turtle point & main reef for surfing. It has a relaxing vibe, is clean & has a restaurant on site. Fun hanging chairs & lounge.
Nice place, meters away from the beach, close to other services. Big room. Restaurant was also fine. We could see sea some turtles at the end.of the beach. Good music.
The beach right in front has a reef or rocks so you'd need to walk 200m to swim. The fan on the roof made a bit of noise, which was not a problem for me but it was s bit for my wife during the night
This property wowed us from the moment we arrived! It’s literally on the beach and not only are the rooms a stone throw away to the sand but the beautiful beach bar and restaurant are seconds away from the shore.
