The breakfast is good. The room is spicy; however, it is old dated.
I suggest the time for breakfast should be extended by at least 30 mins (till 10:30am).
Breakfast was excellent. There were different choices on the hot dishes everyday. The staff were super friendly. Location was on a busy street but inside the hotel it was quiet; no street noise heard. Tea and cookies offered in the lobby was a plus especially after a long day exploring the city.
I hang my airport outfit as soon as we arrived, in the closet. It was the only outfit I kept out of my luggage. I changed into this outfit early on our last morning prior to breakfast. Friendly, super helpful staff and a beautiful, spacious room for the price.
Slightly far from the train station but very walkable.
Location is perfect for walking to everywhere in downtown. The service is old school style and very enjoyable, the facilities are not new but well maintained and high quality. The younger travelers may find it outdated style but well maintained 50+couple love it very much. We will definitely come back to stay in our next Taipei trip
Staff were very attentive and went the last mile to ensure maximum convenience. Breakfast was enjoyable. Location was good though a moderate walking distance from the MRT.
The gym could be better!
High ceilings in room. Floors were clean. Bathroom was good. Bed started off comfortable but then towards the end the bedbug bites made me scared to sleep.
I was bitten by bedbugs. My neck and back of my ears were covered with two dozen or so bites in clusters of straight lines. Only mainly on the left side of my neck. Rest of the room was a bit old/dated. Fax machine?!
The room facilities and the attitude of the hotel service staff give people a warm feeling. Highly recommended.

Room is very spacious and comfortable. Excellent location. I love the convenience and the park across the hotel. It is walking distance to metro and local foods. For breakfast, it is ok. I wish the coffee could be more upscale, ie has hot milk for coffee and have more selection, ie cappuccino.... it will be great the breakfast has more Taiwanese local food, ie Dan Bing (Egg Crepe), ShaoBing with Y...

Very nice lobby with seating area, tea, packaged hotel-branded treats. Small but nice fitness center. We did not get breakfast at the hotel but they did provide us with lattes in the morning on request. Bathroom with soaking tub and automated bidet. The staff was helpful and kind.
