Pros (+) It’s well laid out and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts provided essential items such as bread, milk, butter and biscuits really generously for our arrival and there were plenty of other ingredients, tea and coffee for us to use. We had an early check in which was helpful and a relaxed departure time.
Cons (-) The access is very tight and parking is limited. We would have struggled with a bigger car (medium sized Kia). We found the tv difficult to use with limited channel options. A larger cafetière suitable for 3 people would have been useful rather than the single pot as we are coffee lovers! The kitchen cupboards are in need of some attention. Pros (+) Charming cottage in a beautiful area close enough to visit, Belfast, Newgrange, Slane, Trim and other sites. Kitchen well equipped with a basket of extras from host. Personal messages before and after our stay.
Cons (-) Very tight driveway that was a bit difficult to access.
