Great atmosphere and great people.
We were in a garden view room across the street and up a flight of stairs with my senior mother. We had an infestation of bugs the first night which they addressed by sending the mechanical team to put wood on the balcony doors (apparently that is where the bugs were coming in). We woke up and found a big gecko on our ceiling running around. There were huge snails on the walkway across the street ...

Excellent place to stay with outstanding service!
Although it is very clean but it seems that it should be better maintained for this price level.
25 years ago i stayed in the same location, when there was another Hotel licated here … so i was very curious how things are. And what can i say? A Beautiful and spacious hotel, very generous rooms that are a lot bigger than they appear in the pictures. I slept comfortably on the mattress and the twice daily room cleaning is a luxury without ever being intrusive. The staff in general are absolutel...
I’m not good with aircons and since there was no classic fan in the room, i had to manage. No big deal, but a ceiling fan over the bed would have been my icing on the cake.Read more
Absolutely gorgeous. Immaculate gardens, architecture, location on the beach. Lovely rooms with private warm swimming pools.
Not enough hooks to hang up wet towels inside - had to improvise. Seriously clutching at straws to find a critique though.
Great breakfast, nice staff. Quiet room and good sleep. We had ocean view room and liked the view a lot.
For those who prefer sea to the pool: It was low tide every day in the sea when we stayed (May), so it was waist-deep and very warm water. However it is common for many Samui beach spots and was expected so was not not big problem for us

The Seaview balcony pool villa is awesome. Although the beach in front of hotel is public, Sala has staff clean their bit of the beach constantly , so it was super clean, while the other parts of the beach are not as clean. That is a bonus .
Dinner at the tent can be improved, in particularly the slow service. There were plenty of staff working that night, but still hard to get their attention.
