Location was great, service and staff were attentive and very professional.
Food is very expensive at the resort and in the Bahamas in general.
The hotel was extremely kid friendly. Everything was extremely clean. The amenities were amazing! Loved the various pools, the kids had a great time at the arcade, the light show at the fountains was amazing, the water park was so much fun and the flamingos were super cute! It’s the perfect place for a family!
You have to book restaurant reservations well in advance which as a first time visitor, I didn’t know. You are competing against not only fellow visitors staying at the hotel but also people who aren’t staying at the hotel that would like to eat at the best restaurants. Casino, pools, room.
Had debris in hallways that stayed outside rooms, the whole week! Restaurants were not opened, hard to eat without reservation, front desk was ignorant of schedules for restaurants.
Beautiful beachfront views
Being turned away from a bar for wearing a bikini, pretty pointless for a beachside bar
The waterpark was a great way to spend the day with the kids
The check-in process was horrible. Arrived at 12, and were promised were getting our room ready. I received a call at 3:59 saying our room was ready. The room was not as clean as it should be. Employees had no problems taking tips & making false promises
The only time we had great service was inside the restaurants when sitting down to eat. The bartenders at the sportsbook were great. House keeping was normal.
At the pool, it was impossible to get a drink or order food. The service was extremely slow. Not much better at the beach. Several spots that claimed to be open at night were closed early in the evening.
It wasn’t like three years ago we were there and three years ago., We stayed in Grand Bahamar much better than SLS.
SLS is a name brand hotel but wasn’t look like a name brand and was very basic and staff all around the resort very UNFRIENDLY.
Being treated like family. When I walk into the hotel, from the Valet parking to the Monkey Bar, everyone knows me by name.
