Cons (-) For $2000 per night I would expect a much more luxurious hotel, the building and entrance and reception are so worn out it doesn’t match the price ask

Pros (+) The location is perfect. The building is beautiful in that it is old but well maintained. It is hold with a terrace that looks over the entire city. The rooms are well insulated and seem sound proof.
Cons (-) Basic things didn't work which was surprising for an expensive five star hotel. There was no real customer service before we arrived. The AC in the room couldn't be switched off so we were freezing. The toilet couldn't flush and staff responsiveness was rather slow. There were other little things but those were the three big ones.

Pros (+) Fab location, with a nice room that was clean, tidy & super soundproof! Breakfast was wonderful, with nice staff that were very helpful. The rooftop bar & main restaurant we visited were beautiful. As with other Rocco Forte hotels it was luxury without being stuffy!
Cons (-) A pillow menu would be nice, to help different sleep preferences.
