It has a character.
Although I booked this hotel through Booking.com, when I arrived for check-in two hours late (at 10 PM instead of 8 PM), the staff told me the hotel was overbooked through Booking.com and they didn’t have a room for me. They managed to find me just a place to sleep, but it wasn’t an actual room. It was not acceptable, especially since I had already paid for my stay.
We were surprised by the venue, but in a pleasant way. From outside it looked old and run down, but inside very eclectic and interesting. I would say it was an adventure staying there, and I would do so again.

Every thing is was good
The pictures on the website
Whole property smelt feral. Host had no idea about booking and was very obscure. Whole experience was very uncomfortable to the point we drove away without staying even though we had paid.
It was unusual and quirky
That the hotel owner wasn’t expecting us. Lights off and doors locked at 8.30pm. Our room wasn’t ready so given another.
It was a great country pub friendly staff made to feel like home would recommend highly great fellow travellers with no tv every one socialised and enjoy evening
The only down fall was no internet to plan our onward journey
Robbie Burns is a beautiful off the beaten path pet stay. Katie is a wonderful host and cook.
