Hotel and grounds very beautiful!
Requested a separate bed when I booked for myself & my daughter but when we arrived it was just one bed so we had to share which resulted in not a very good night sleep getting kicked in the back by five year-old, I also requested on booking a “nice view” but we could just see a car park. We started with an afternoon tea on our arrival with a glass of champagne which was very tasty. We couldn't eat it all so happily took some away with us. The room was lovely with a great view of the forest beyond. We felt the hotel lost its sense of personality when we entered the new wing to our room. It was all a bit beige, which was a real shame as the essence of the building is completely different to that. Breakfast was amazing, loved having room service with a smile. Lounge/bar was lovely and cosy in the evenings and the facilities were amazing. Offer loads of amenities to help you get re-ready after swimming, and refrigerated water in the gym.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the New Forest. Lovely grounds and lots of areas to sit outside and enjoy a drink. The staff gave exceptional customer service. We had dinner in the Armada restaurant - the food was amazing and huge portions! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a real luxury break.
We would definitely stay again but will go for an upgrade on the room. We stayed in a standard room which was very comfortable but a little dated. I prefer a walk-in shower rather than a shower over the bath. The lighting in the room wasn’t great, low lighting - very difficult to do your makeup!!

Nothing to complain about
Lovely setting in the forest nice outdoor pool and lovely gardens.Staff very attentive on the whole and the food quality was excellent.
Bedroom was clean but fairly basic considering the cost. We were disturbed by late night revellers in the early hours of the morning in the room above one night, which spoiled the experience.
The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Facilities excellent and plenty of spa treatments available. The formal restaurant is perfect for a celebratory meal especially as Jerry, with his excellent knowledge of wine, looked after us so well.

Too commercial. Did not put me able to use my card on all purchases hence charging me the Service Charge on every purchase.
Everything was superb (luckily including the weather!). Would have to pick out the amazing friendliness and professionalism of all the staff; the amazing food (both delicious and well presented), the beauty of the place and the overall cleanliness - room kept just perfect. Thank you. We will be back.
