The property was stunning and I absolutely loved the spa. They had the best rooms we’ve experience so far in Italy.
The pesto was extremely salty which caused us to avoid the food.
The grounds, facilities, and staff.
Not a dislike, but worth noting that you will need a car/taxi service to access any local towns etc.
The staff were amazing and didn’t hesitate to help us with anything we needed. The hotel and location are beautiful, perfect for a relaxing holiday. We would 100% come back!
The grounds were beautifully kept and the scenery was breathtaking. The uniqueness of the property was very refreshing. It had a luxury yet relaxed feel with nature as the backdrop. The breakfast was outstanding.
Some of the surrounding roads were not in the best shape and the location was a little remote.
Beautiful hotel. Very clean everywhere. It’s a nice small hotel and was very quiet when we were here. Great location with some good restaurants nearby which is good as the restaurant does not serve dinner. Good views of the Tuscan countryside.
It was very quiet… almost too quiet. There is no bar, just a waiter who floats about. He said, “ I am the bar”. He disappears in the late afternoon so you can’t get a drink in the evening unless you get one from the fridge in your room. The hotel is silent in the evenings and there’s no one to be seen. It’s feels of like there’s been a murder and all of the guests suspect each other.
What an amazing place to stay! The surroundings, staff and facilities.. oh that was a treat! Its not cheap, but definitely worth it for a night or two! We will be back!

Beautiful property with a pool, sunbeds and lots of places to sit and enjoy nature. Staff were all eloquent in English and gave a tour of the grounds and even helped us make a reservation at a nearby restaurant. We were given a room that had our own front yard and private garden space, which was super nice!
The room looked a little dated and had a musty smell when we first went in, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked fine. The grounds have lots of insects and mosquitoes, so be sure to bring your repellent and watch out for cobwebs!
A truly relaxing break in such a beautiful setting - the photos do not do it justice. Definitely a treat but worth the expense. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed all of the facilities: pool, spa, gardens, food / bar. Yes, the hotel kitchen only does breakfast and lunch but (1) there is a good bar menu to go with sundowners and (2) there are plenty of great restaurants nearby which the staff are h...
A small thing but the only complimentary water received was a half bottle each on arrival, and it was expensive to purchase thereafter. With peer hotels offering free bottled water each day and on request, this was a surprise and felt slightly out of touch given the cost of the stay. But it certainly did not ruin our week!Read more
