Pros (+) Very friendly and kind staff. The grounds and buildings were spotless. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend for a getaway.
Cons (-) We're placed in a room three flights of stairs up, with very tiny windows and absolutely no view of the beautiful surroundings. No AC so it could get stifling in the middle of summer.

Pros (+) The location is a great place in a very quiet area of Umbria. . I love the historic building. The village close by called Nocera umbra is as well very cute. The rooms in the historic building are decorated with taste. It is certainly an amazing place for celebration with friends.
Cons (-) The newer built adjacent houses are certainly not as nicely decorated and clean . The price we were charged for those are not correctly adjusted. It was lacking some outside comfortable seats and areas to read and enjoy the area . The restaurant is expensive for Italy.

Pros (+) The place is magical. The location, the surroundings, the staff. Everything was spectacular. The food the chef cooks every day is better than most restaurants I’ve been to. It’s absolutely stunning.
Cons (-) The breakfast could be better and a bit more diverse.

Pros (+) We had a wonderful stay at the Monastero! It's unique location on top of a hill at the outskirts of Nocera Umbra provided us with beautiful sunsets and sundowns every day. The environment is beautiful for hikes and Assisi is reachable in only a half hour drive. We have been charmed deeply by Giovanni, the "home beer brewer" of the San Biagio monastero, who gave us a passionate tour of the brewery ...
