The location and views are amazing. You can wander down to the beach, visit the community gardens and explore the grounds and island with ease. Staff team were excellent. Really welcoming, relaxed and very helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Breakfast was great! The hotel is very well presented, has a lovely cozy library/ snug with games etc and rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated...
The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side but based on the fact they're on a small island I guess that's understandable.Read more

Room was small and a bit pokey, automatic lighting made it a challenge to get up during the night without waking partner
Property is beautiful. Staff is amazing. They went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was delicious. Drinks were amazing. My only regret is not asking how to make one if the drinks:)
Nothing not to like.
Charming old Scottish Lodge-view of the water was breathtaking. Lawn area had sheep in the background and rabbits munching on the grass.

The ferry. This is Not the fault of the hotel butCalMac ferries on line timetable and bookingsystem is miserable. What you need to know to stay here is that you can just drive to the ferry drive and buy a ticket which is not what the ferry operator states on their site or on the dock when you arrive. Beautiful views
Beds were a bit lumpy and we had quite a bit of noise from people talking outside their room during the night - I mean chatting a whole conversation like they thought they were the only ones in the hotel- I ended up having to go out and tell them to be quiet.
