What a wonderful experience to share this old but tastefully renovated old country house with the hosts which has been the home of the family for decades. The room was so comfortable with beautiful views across the valleys and we were able to relax and sleep in total silence. The accomodation was simply fantastic! The host was very friendly and polite. The villa is meant for you to “feel at home” and it far exceeded our expectations. Guests are welcomed as family, the facilities were clean and comfortable and it is located 10min away from the train that can take you to the Douro valley.
Fantastic view, comfortable room, great breakfast, good parking, beautiful pool.Best shower in Portugal. But, the warmest memory will be of our outstanding hostess and her lovely parents. Excellent host! Very confortable stay in a historic house and beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent with variety of fruits, homemade jams and cupcakes. We will return for sure!

The interior of the house is simply stunning. The hosts were absolutely welcoming. Even though we stayed only for one night we felt like family. This place is a gem !
