The location was good.
Our room smelled like mildew. It had a bad odor the entire time we were there. The window covering wasn’t very good and let in light around the outside of the window. There was lighting on the outside of the building at night so there was light coming in all night. Hotel is well located within easy 10-15 minute walk to French Quarter. Staff were friendly, rooms well appointed & clean. (my personal preference is for a hard mattress & the mattresses were definitely more on the soft side - only reason for not giving a 100% rating re comfy bed question above). Nothing really - very happy stay. There was a corporate event booked at the hotel restaurant one evening which meant we could not eat at the hotel - although not what we planned, there are many other options around the hotel so not really an inconvenience but maybe a note to hotel residents in the morning would have been a considerate touch? Would not issue refund even though we were 2 months away from our stay. I feel with that much lead time they should have issued us the refund.

The food prices in the restaurant were the most reasonable in we encountered on the trip. The staff really seemed to enjoy their jobs. They treated us with kindness and genuine friendliness.
There was an unexpected charge on my credit card. I have a call in to inquire what this charge is.
