Puerta del Cielo is an amazing place for a relaxing vacation by the sea. Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable and each has its own on charm. “Cenote” room has its own patio with a private pool right by the bedroom. Amazing beachfront terrace, Randy was a great host
This property is in a quiet little beach town away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a comfy treat, well appointed and thought out. It is run by some amazing friendly and kind people who will help you make your stay comfortable.

What an absolute gem of a place. Jill and Randy were lovely and incredibly hospitable. They made so many memorable moments like feeding the gulls and little snacks by the beach. It was also my partners birthday whilst we were there, and they made it so special for her, and we are very thankful. We will certainly be back next year, and we already can't wait. Thank you!
The view was spectacular on the balcony! The owners were very friendly and helpful.
It was difficult to get around without a car. There were no grocery stores within walking distance. There was only one restaurant within walking distance.
The location is quiet and calm.
Needs some clean up and organizing of building materials, water hoses, and cleaning supplies in the common area.
This is a hidden gem! Extremely welcoming and friendly hosts! Jill makes an amazing breakfast! Smooth sandy beach. Very quiet and comfortable stay. Can’t wait to come back for another stay. Thanks Jill & Randy!

The best host owner that you can have!
The room was spacious and the ocean view was awesome. We liked the hotel so much and we stayed all day at the hotel instead of going out. The owner is a friendly couple and the wife made breakfast. We got Waffles and Omulett and both were really good!
We didn't have a car, so we had to get Uber from Progresso centro and it was 120mxn from there and we couldn't really go anywhere from the hotel. There was a restaurant 10 mins walk from there and we just had some seafood there and rest of the day we stayed in the hotel. But we really enjoyed the hotel! There was a pool and sea in front of the hotel!!
Amazing place at the beach! Lovely hosts, amazing room, with a large beamer to watch a movie on a rainy day. Super welcoming atmosphere and great private pool.
