The breakfasts were healthy, well crafted, and very generous and one was able to enjoy three courses! The staff was terrific, helpful, friendly, personable, hard working and very well trained and great communicators with my limited Spanish! Great people, all!
I picked up all the trash on the beach. Once their grounds ended, trash was EVERYWHERE and as Californians, it is extremely disconcerting and unsightly...so you pick it up!! If the locals or the staff don't do it, they need to arrange once a week trash pick up volunteer days as I'm sure the guests would jump right in! (It's lonely otherwise...).
Secluded location, tranquility, falling sleep with sound of waves, rain and thunders, waking up with the sound of birds! Stayed 2 nights, felt so relaxed!
Got bitten by mosquitos, it was raining time. Despite of repellent available. Maybe should consider putting mosquito net around the bed.

I don't have words to describe how special our time at Puerta Paraiso was. Osmar and his team were ready to welcome us from the word "go" and they made us feel very special in this truly Mexican paradise. With its unbelievably warm water, Playa Larga is great to run in the morning. The water is very clean and the beach pristine. Puerta Paraiso is a place to switch off from the world and just relax...

Staff was very helpful and nice. Facilities are what would you expect and according to their description. The pool is very nice and clean. Rooms are large and comfortable. The beach is fantastic and, given its far away from the crowds, very peaceful and almost deserted, which is a big plus. If you want to be close to town and fussiness then it may not be your place. NOt their fault but rough surf....also some things - like cushions and towels needed updating...
The beds were comfortable with good linens, housekeeping did a great job taking care of that during our stay. The food was tasty, nice presentations and excellent service from our Waiters. The ...
