We knew this would be wonderful as we approached, it is set high above the 101, nestled among rainforest. I have never heard so many birds, a special highlight was watching hummingbirds drink water from bromeliads in the trees. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the porch each day, but the surrounding area has many things to enjoy, of course Paraty and the beaches and forest trails. Breakfast...

Photos cannot capture how beautiful and magical this Poussada is. The grounds are well maintained and there is so much to explore, enjoy and see on the campus itself.
The only thing that could be problematic for someone with mobility issues is the incline and the stairs. You must move with care because you are in the mountains
The property is lovely. Perfect escape surrounded by lush greenery, a beautiful waterfall, fantastic spa services, and wonderful staff. The neighborhood dogs are pure love.
Everything was perfect, the location (into the forest), hospitality, massage, food and drinks. The room with the whirlpool and porch.

Love the property. Amazing landscape, private waterfall (kids loved it), great food, rustic decor. Very private with isolated rooms. Wonderful staff.
It is an amazing place in the jungle. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax in nature this is the place you are looking for.
The property was amazing, it was well looked after & the staff were great & so helpful. It's in the middle of no where & the wildlife you see is amazing. the only thing to note is it's very far out, there isn't a local shop near & taxi to centre is 120r one way. The food was out of this world & prices & sizes were great. The Bangalows are spaced out and you feel like you have a lot of space.
no water for 3/4 days which were difficult as we can't drink tap water & no shops near by
The room was phenomenal. Clean. Beautiful. Facilities were exceptional. Breakfast was to die for. Swimming pool was lovely. The surrounding area was breathtaking.
The staff were pleasant but not overly friendly.
