The bar area was sterile and the staff member on duty unfriendly, disinterested, more concerned about sitting down and playing on her mobile phone.
The staff were extremely professional and friendly. The room was very comfy and had everything needed. The pools and sauna were amazing and the breakfast options were plenty and very fresh. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying there in the future.

Nothing to highlight
Expectations were not met at all. I went there as a solo traveler to relax because starting the hiking fishing trail. Spa and pool was ok but not as good as on the pictures. I had booked a standard room, and even if the hotel was almost empty in April they put me in a room giving on constructions… from morning to evening it was very noisy. We had a very nice stay at Porto Covo Praia Hotel, the location is great, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb. Beds were also super comfy.
In the rooms are no proper walls or doors between main room and toilet.
The view of the ocean and Sines Port was amazing, on that note it was amazing! although there werent many restaurants around. and the 3 im giving is more because of the welcoming we had on the room than any other thing
Well a lot of things, the inside pool floor was Super wet, like a giant puddle with no end, they have rules for that pool which some people were not applying but there was never any staff there to even care, the sauna and turkish bath were turned off, you would need to go up the reception to ask them to turn it on, because there was no other staff in the area which for safety reason was terrible, ...Read more
Pool was nice. Good location. Beautiful beaches in walking distance.
Breakfast and food was below average. Could be nice having duvet cover instead of blankets below and on top of the duvet... always ended up in a mess after sleeping.
Staff was great ! Restaurant it has beautiful dishes. The massage services were great! The ocean just ahead of us! Very well isolated windows.
Unfortunately, the spa it's deceiving as the sauna was barely hot and the hammam was not working. Nobody has warned us we had to request to connect it. The showers in the perimeter of the pool without any hooks to hang towels or clothes ( not even in the shower) and no soap in them. In general, the building it's poorly built. Spacious room, amazing breakfast!
For a spa, it was disappointing to learn that the sauna was out of use so it only had a steam room and a swimming pool. The steam room and sauna are really small which isn’t obvious from the pictures. Had to find staff to be able to order lunch and/or drinks and it felt like we were an inconvenience for asking.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
