Since the rooms were converted from an old courtyard building, the bathroom space is quite compact and does not have a separate dry area, which might not be ideal for some guests. This place was perfect. It’s location in central to all the sites. Though it is the staff that makes this place amazing! They were so welcoming and accommodating.

this really is a special place. An old house each room is different with a raised lang for a bed which was very comfortable. The staff were so kind and helpful.
I liked everything!
The staff were really friendly and helpful. Explained the area, what places to visit, how to get tickets and picked me up and dropped me off at the station. A beautiful boutique hotel and I had a great simple room. They had gone out of their way to provide just about everything you need The location is ideal, a very short walk to the old town. Very handy for restaurants and bars.

Beautiful house and calming atmosphere, very nice staff, very good food in the hotel’s restaurant. As the hotel is located inside the city wall, all the important sights are nearby.

We were glad to have chosen this Hotel for our stay in Pingyao. Everything was nice, the rooms are very special, designed into the old Temple. Breakfast even for western people very good. In general, the Restaurant is very good and perhaps the best in Pingyao. Quality of the food is excellent.
TV was not working, but this is ok, if you stay for 4 or 5 nights
Yide Hotel was incredibly beautiful and serene! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I emailed across my arrival train and they arranged (for a very small sum!) for me to be picked up- the same on the way back to Pingyaogucheng, which was immensely helpful.
