Pros (+) The location is terrible, no food options around and nothing to see apart from the church, hotel was great and great staff, breakfast was very lack luster. No facilities open in the hotel due to lack of guests, no food in the hotel apart from breakfast.

Pros (+) The staffs were helpful and kind despite our early morning schedules. It is very affordable and the rooms are sparkling clean. Bathrooms are well equipped and there is always hot water which is helpful on cold days.

Pros (+) The hotel was exceptional (even by western standards) bath, kettle and fridge in the room, bed was so comfortable!! Breakfast was ok, I had eggs and bread (still not got my head around meat and noodles for breakfast) the Vietnamese coffee was exceptional and I had an orange tea which was also great. The staff are honestly amazing! Helped me book onward travel (night bus) and arranged for me to lea...
Cons (-) I didn’t research the location enough. This is quite fat from the activities of Ninh Binh but it was great to get out of the tourist areas and visit a traditional Vietnamese town and test my communication skills. They don’t have a gym, they have a health centre with a sauna. Just a translation issue.

Pros (+) A very new hotel runs by a family. A lot of love brought to make this place special. Perfect location, excellent bedding and very clean. The first impression when you come in is very good. You know right away you made the right choice when you are welcomed by a huge smile and a lot of attention in a clear open lobby. This place deserves to lead the best options list in that area.

Pros (+) The best hotel in Kim Son, Ninh Binh. It’s brand new and walking distant to the church. The receptionist - Van is very helpful and hostile. I had the good stay here. Definitely will come back!
