Bathroom door/room could have been fully a room - instead is portioned. However beautiful bathroom.
The location of this boutique hotel was perfect. We were in Cascais for a surprise party and it was a perfect meeting spot. The restaurant was divine and the staff were brilliant and very helpful. We are designers and loved every aspect of the exterior and interior of this hotel. It's very IG worthy!!
This is no reflection on the hotel as they had no control on what goes on outside of the gates, but if this is a common problem, perhaps it could be addressed.... at 4am we were awoken but 2 or 3 men right outside the gates, talking really loudly whilst doing what we guessed as, emptying a skip or clearing waste/ It went on for approx 30mins which was a great shame as it really interrupted our sle...Read more
Charming manor house hotel with beautiful front garden. Room and bed were comfortable and staff incredibly welcoming and personable.
Although bathroom in our room was beautiful with original Portuguese tile, some maintenance is needed to fixtures. Breakfast options limited but nicely presented.

Mixed feelings about a 1-night wkend stay in this 4-star hotel. The positive: wonderful garden where the bar and restaurant are located. Old house, nicely restored, in the center of Cascais old town.
The opportunities for improvement: zero privacy in the bathroom inside the room (a glass layer separates the bed from the toilet/shower: photo attached), no elevator in this 3 floor house, all the noise from the restaurant and reception flows up the only staircase to the rooms making it difficult to rest before 23h, a nearby discotheque/bar pumps dance-music to the rooms facing the back of the hot...Read more

Excellent location, very quaint
Cockroach in sink, very loud party from 11;30pm to 3:30am. Ordered a glass of wine at 5:45pm. Had a few sips and was told they were now closed. Rather a waste of 9 euros
Nicole, Elias, and the rest of the staff were great. The hotel and garden restaurant are beautiful.
