Coastal location, long ocean views, woodland trails, good food and, best of all, the resident boat man who offers kayaking and sea trips to the islands where you can get up close to colonies of seals and even dolphins. The heated infinity pool is also a bonus.
It would be good if the hotel offered a bus shuttle service to/from Sneem hourly as it takes around an hour to walk in. It’s a beautiful village with three great pubs. Guests should be encouraged to experience the village.

breakfast was great. lots of choice and service was very efficient. Food in the ed restaurant was also lovely. spa facilities are excellent z.
i didn’t like the fact that there were still children in the pool after six. i feel that should be monitored better. I was also disappointed that when myself and my husband ordered Duck it was gone off the menu as we were both looking forward to the duck.
Infinity pool & Spa were a nice touch to the stay. The trails along the woods were a nice unexpected element to the stay even on a rainy day. Food in the Doolittle bar was very nice and breakfast was excellent. Lots of seating areas dotted around with guests allowed to walk around at their own leisure. Staff accommodating and helpful.

Excellent location, coastal views are breathtaking, spa facilities especially infinity pool was amazing and lovely feature, staff also lovely to deal with
Room 226 in the main hotel in such bad condition, walls peeling paint and bubbling from damp issues, old furniture in poor condition, bed uncomfortable, bathroom outdated with leaking taps not 5 star standard, room located above bar with loud noises past 1am on a Monday night! No modern standard facilities one would expect in room like a fridge or a safe very poor standard overall
Location superb ,lots of activities ,staff were exceptional ,bedrooms very clean and comfortable
The food could have been better and I wasn't a fan of all the kids running around and jumping in and out of pools
Many beautiful walking trails. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Dinners at the restaurants were excellent. Live music in the evening was a nice touch.

No cash was accepted in the hotel, can’t understand this concept? Bar closed at approximately 11.30 pm on 11/5/25 , what happened to residents wanting another drink after this, nothing was offered only told it’s closed ! No beer mats, no limes for bottles of corona, Wi-Fi not great in all parts of the hotel, when asked about getting breakfast in the room the following morning we were told to ring ...Read more
