It is outside the centre of town but with in reasonable commute by bus so location turns out to be good for us.
We were given room in annex so you miss out on real grandeur part of the building. We are not sure what could be basis to house guests in main part or in the annex. Annex is noisy at night road noise and guests wandering due to many rooms cramped in next to each other. Room was comfortable with bed and linen. Mini bar and tea coffee with kettle. Excellent Breakfast, Great View From Room. Exceptional Staff. Wonderful Living Room Lobby. Great Restaurants in short Walking Distance. We will be returning for the 3rd. time in October.

I loved the location, not because it's close to the city center but on the contrary, because it is in a quiet area with beautiful green scenery! When we first arrived I thought this location is so beautiful it is like I knew where the most beautiful part of Florence was and then booked the hotel. The bus stop is in front of the hotel. Great breakfast, very clean rooms, and a beautiful terrace!
Beautiful outdoor space - a terrace to have breakfast in a small garden to sit in and enjoy sunshine - excellent breakfasts large selection fruit meat cheese - I did walk into Florence and back with trainers in and it was totally fine a taxi is about 18 euros

We loved the refined comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. Extra-friendly and helpful staff, lovely location, excellent breakfast - everything set the scene for a most enjoyable stay in Florence. Highly recommended and we will return.
Next time we will visit and stay from May so we can use the gorgeous pool!
