Pros (+) wonderful and sensitive restoration.
Cons (-) Staff were poorly trained and quite rude at times. We had a serious problem with one of the rooms (water coming through the ceiling) and staff were unwilling to compensate as it had been booked through Booking.com

Pros (+) It’s a very grounding and peaceful space. Hard to describe in words. The feeling is expansive and beautiful.
Cons (-) The bar area, as others have mentioned, is underwhelming. If you sit outside, it’s much nicer with a calming atmosphere. (Inside, not so).

Pros (+) Well what can you about this Parador (we have stayed in several) Its a stunner both in size inc the very large rooms. The breakfast and in particular the evening meals were 1st class, with brilliant friendly staff.

Pros (+) We liked everything. the building was very impressive and also the quality of the fit-out.
Cons (-) It was a 30 min walk to the town but nothing the hotel can do about that. A shuttle bus, say morning afternoon and late. There were no taxis available in the town to get back to the hotel.
