Perfect family run, beautiful small hotel in center of Matera. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, many choices for fresh fruits & baked goods, Eggs made to order! Complimentary ‘ Welcome drink @ the rooftop bar. Very informative & attentive staff, especially Paolo! Lovely visit!

The breakfast was excellent, the variety more than enough and the lady servicing was very kind and helpful. The room was appropriately equipped (for a 4-star hotel) of average size. The bathroom was also well equipped and ergonomic, of good size, and the shower area as well, although the paint on the shower wet wall was peeling. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. The price was higher than what it should be considered as normal for a 4-star hotel, but we realized that it was the period of the celebration of the Matera cathedral and there were many visitors around. By the way if you want privacy and a quiet stay at Matera avoid this period. Wifi and air conditioning did not work well.
Friendly staff and clean facilities
Terrible internet that did not work and air condition could not be controlled from room so it was very hot. Did not know had to tell front desk to set it cooler.
Nice room, with comfortable bed in a great location. Breakfast was solid. Staff were both friendly and helpful with very good recommendations.
Room could use and iron, more hangers, and a place to store your luggage. The a/c was hard to figure out and operate. More a critism of booking than the hotel- I filtered for free parking, but paid $ 25 euros per night.
The service, the staff, the location, the modern conveniences, the breakfast and the comfortable bed! Parking worked out so well.
It is in a noisy location with street work starting at 6 am if you have a room to the front.
