Location, cleanliness, breakfast
Room layout. Bed was located in the bathroom area, up against the shower & toilet. Drain smelled/stank. No closet, to put cloths away. Had to live, out of suitcase.
The staff were excellent and very accommodating. When we arrived they asked if we would care for a quieter room, located in the courtyard. Very generous of them but the room was not very good, a bathroom that you could barely turn around in and no closet space that you could get to. Probably the worst part was that it was very warm and there was no outdoor fresh air circulation. We requested a roo...
Not sure what they could do to make the room quieter, it's right on the street, but they definitely compensate by being the kindest people, very clean and offer a generous breakfast the next day.Read more
The hotel had lovely art displayed everywhere. The staff was great and very friendly. Thank you Erandi, Karina, Angie, Vhon, Carmen and Lulú.
The only negative I have is that the room would get a bit hot during the day and wasn't able to cool down at night. The temperature wasn't insufferable but I would've preferred the room to be a bit cooler.
Excellent location, quiet street close to the historic centre; staff were super friendly and helpful; room was basic but clean and adequate
Beautiful old building in a great location in the historic district. Easy walking to restaurants, the zocalo, and the aqueduct. Very very nice staff and interesting building filled with art and fascinating spaces. Comfortable bed.
Rooms on the front can have street noise (earplugs are provided); some rooms that face the interior are small and a bit dark (although some face the inner courtyard and are quite lovely). It has some of the issues that old buildings have, such as tricky faucets in the shower. All is manageable and worth it to stay in an old building in a good location with lovely staff, but something to be aware o...Read more
The breakfast was delicious better than we ever hoped. And the location was perfect especially for the Sunday morning bike ride when the bike rental places towards the cathedral were busy. We spent all day in just the neighborhood by the hotel.
Very good breakfast
Street noise was a bit of an issue
The atmosphere and architecture is very lovely and and historic. The art found at this hotel is also very beautiful and entertaining. The staff is very nice and attentive to all you needs. I highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Morelia.
The location is great. The little quiet attached cafe is nice, as is the decoration of the place.
The rooms are much smaller than they look in the photos. VERY tiny rooms. A few have no windows, so take a look first. They stole 20 euros from me, charging me for late check out, after the staff made a mistake!!! SO BAD!!!! I came down after 12 noon, the check out time, to the news that I needed to change rooms, after they assured me I could stay for another 2 nights. I had lunch plans, so ran ou...Read more
