We book a suite for us and 2 children. The suite is large and spacious. It has a small desk and reasonable wifi. The pool is large, comfortable and not too crowded. The room amenities are pretty limited. We had 4 bottles of water, which they did not restock, and 4 espresso capsules, which they did not restock either. We didn't ask why, we assumed it needs to be paid. Breakfast was very well laid out no queuing at any of the food or drink stations. Great variety of food. Hotel about an kilometre from city centre and not far from castle uphill but tram stops right outside hotel and goes every few mins.
Only small things about hotel that they could improve. Hard to get the balance in the shower between very hot and cold. No information in the rooms for visitors about places to go or things to do.
Hotel is quite decent but comparing with price payed I wouldn't say it is a good value. Reception staff is helpful - no problem there. Pool is fine, not too crowded and I liked the option that price for using Sauna (2hours) could be split to 2 persons for 1hour which is more than enough.
What I didn't like most is breakfast...it wasn't bad but mark exceptional doesn't stand. I would call it - very good which is middle mark. Also - location...there is tram station almost in front of the hotel and price of public transport in Prague is not expensive but you need to ride at least 20 minutes to city center. A lovely breakfast. The hotel looks old and neglected from the outside, but inside you have a very pleasant surprise. I have no complaints about the rooms or the service. It was very nice that they prepared for my wife's birthday.
The pool area leaves a lot to be desired.
