The breakfast was excellent, furnishings were attractive, great location, lovely garden and easy to walk to everywhere. A truely relaxing experience. Convenient parking on site and good advice and information given by very helpful and courteous staff, a pleasure to stay there.
Everything was just fine. no complaints.
* great location next to Botanic Garden * gorgeous old house * huge room upstairs with King and single beds * beautiful lounge for guest use with a glass of wine after 5pm * lovely old dining room with continental breakfast. Great homemade stewed fruit * very friendly and helpful staff
Charming B&B thats very centrally located. I stayed a night and got in quite late. Room was nice and I liked that they provided heating pads for the bed as it was a bit cold. Breakfast was adequate. I wish i could have stayed longeras the location was great to explore Christchurch Gallery, botanical gardens, riverside market. I made the most of my morning. The airport bus is just 2 blocks away.

Continental breakfast was excellent. Tasty ham, 2 options of cheese, boiled eggs, delicious stewed fruits, yoghurts, cereals, etc. My bed was soooo comfortable, I really felt like I slept in my own bed. Bathroom very clean. Staff were very friendly, met the owner who grew up in this beautiful villa. Close to Te Pae convention centre for my conference.
Next time, I will stay further from the front door, but actually I didn’t hear anyone, anyway! (I was room 1).

The location was excellent. Easy access to the city and trams. The relaxed and comfortable style was just what we needed after doing a bus tour with fairly rigid time schedules. We loved the tour, but the Orari provided the perfect contrast and a great opportunity to explore Christchurch independently. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
