Originally a bank. It is a beautifully restored historic building. It ticks all the boxes. Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Great location. Lovely staff.
Room was a bit stuffy. Temperature is controlled by reception. They tried to lower the temperature in the room but it didn't work. We would have liked a bath but that wasn't an option even though we had a superior room.

Beautiful building in the center of town!
The location was perfect and the staff were great. We arrived at 7am after getting the night train from Oslo. We went to the hotel to leave our bags expecting to come back later to check in. They had a room ready (which had been upgraded) and let us check in straight away which was really appreciated. Location. Friendly and accommodating staff. We were sad to leave.
I was too tall for the sloped ceilings in our top floor room. Kept bumping my head against a support beam on the ceiling. Room itself was great!

The shower did not get as hot as I like. Everything else perfect.
Amazing location for seeing all of Bergen, very nice views, great setting, well-appointed room. Quiet. Lovely relaxed breakfast with a lot of tasty and local choices.
The bed was too soft for me. I understand that this is personal preference but this was a very soft mattress.
