Staff are amazing people, from Sharon who patiently caters to our requests, Daniel who is a very good guide, Gibson with impeccable service, and ofcourse Mr John himself, they treat us like a family. Food was also nice, the shower water was very hot and nice, and internet was super fast in our room. We also got hippos serenading every night and the sound of river and friendly dikdiks right in fron...
The location is about 30 mins from the gate entry, but you will get access to river with hippos, the sound of moving river, and crocodiles, so it's not a minus and a pretty good trade off.Read more
I can say that my expectations were exceeded in every aspect. The staff are some of the kindest people I have ever met and most of them have been working from the time the Camp was established and I believe that says a lot about the workplace. The tents are amazing. They pay so much attention to detail. Got woken up with hot tea everyday for early safari drivers and meals were packed accordingly. ...
We had a wonderful stay at Neptune Rianta. The accommodation was perfect, beautiful tented accommodation overlooking the river, woken by hippos every morning. The staff were outstanding, friendly and efficient, in particular, Daisy our wonderful waitress, Daniel our friendly butler and Daniel our masai safari guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations in every way. Food and beverage were ok but limited options
We loved the outstanding service and beautiful setting of the property. Very skillful staff and relaxing surrounding. We had a most wonderful stay, thank you, especially to Daniel and Gibson.
The distance to the main park was too far. But from the Camp you can see a lot of wildlife coming to the river shore.
location is good , staff in general is very accommodating but they have limited options
NO wifi in the room , Water pressure is pathetic, it takes a lot of time to take a shower , water quality is bad , very hard water .It's an all inclusive hotel but you will end up starving , better to carry some snacks , Food availability and portion sizes are sad . i almost cried seeing chef's face when my wife asked chicken roll from the snacks menu also no basic 5 star amenities in the room ev...Read more
The property is great! Amenities. Staff. Very well accomplished! The games drives…. Ufff exceptional.
A couple of things to improve: 1. Nonbreakable wine glasses should be used instead of metal glasses for the beverages sent for the game drives. 2. It does take 1 hour to the Mara National park. So it’s a bit far.
location, service, food quality
The location is stunning and you can dine looking at the hippos. The attention to detail is also amazing. They warm up the bed before bedtime, provide a free laundry service for 3 items per person, they are always very attentive.
The adventure trek is a rip-off. They sold it to us as an amazing thing that you have to absolutely do when you are there and it said on the program it lasted 3 hours. I asked the receptionist what we would see during the trek and they told us we would see lots of animals. We paid $700 for a walk of not even 2 hours and we saw absolutely nothing apart from 2 elephants from very far away. The view ...Read more
It was a very good stay and excellent service. The check-in, bar, wait staff and butler were all top notch. Food was good. It was wonderful to be there in the low season.
I couldn't put out of my mind the environmental impact of some aspects of the accommodation. Perhaps that is part of going to a fragile natural area (and perhaps hypocritical of me). Yet, I think there are some simple changes the camp could do - such as get rid of single use plastics, use only biodegradable cleaning products and better protect the surrounding river basin - to improve. There is a p...Read more
