Rating: 1/10 I had a terrible experience at My Tale Classic Apartment Annex. The room we were given looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. Upon arrival, we were told the air conditioning was not working—which is unacceptable in warm weather and should have been disclosed beforehand. Great hotel. The rooms were excellent and the bathroom spacious with a rain shower. The rooms are new (as is the bathroom). The breakfast was fantastic with numerous options and home cooked sweets. The hotel is 2 mins from a Metro and 4 mins walk from the bus. It is also very close to the Colosseum (9 min easy walk). Highly recommend this hotel

Continental Breakfast
Street noise at night was a problem. The desk staff could have been more helpful. Elevator would not carry two people, nor a single person plus luggage due to weight limit restriction.
This slightly quirky hotel is well located within a 10-15 minute walk of the Colosseum. A similar walk gets you to the main station, and a metro station is 5 minutes walk. A number of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Our room was a good size, and the bed was huge. Breakfast room is quite small but the food choice was good nonetheless.
If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the front. Our room was on the first floor above reception and every night the bar next door sets up an outside area in the small piazza just outside. Surprisingly, we slept through the hubbub but not everyone will! Price-wise it felt on the high side for what it is, but then that isn’t unusual in Rome.
Beautiful neighbourhood, loved our bathroom, staff v friendly and helpful.
The noise coming from the bar next door/outside is unbearable at night. Would really recommend the hotel invests in better seals on the windows to soundproof better. Breakfast was ok but could have been better quality for the price we paid.
