We had a lovely, relaxing, weekend break. The grounds and golf course are stunning, as are the wider views of Perthshire. Great walks within the grounds. Friendly and efficient staff, great dining options and a clean and comfortable room.
Nothing.
The friendly and helpful staff, the food and the size and comfort of the bedrooms .
Nothing everything was perfect
Country Hotel set amid rolling Perthshire hills to East of Scone with glorious views down into Perth. Excellent meal in Eolas restaurant with great service and seating to make the most of the view. Large room with comfortable bed.
Plenty of shampoo and conditioner but no shower gel (other than a fixed bottle of hand wash at the sink). Night manager unable to find any but luckily we had bought some with us
We eloped to Perth and had our wedding breakfast & night at Murrayshall. From start to finish the whole staff were amazing. So attentive, professional and made our day special with lots of personal touches. The food was amazing, the drink is reasonably priced and the rooms completely exceeded our expectations. Lovely hotel, comfy bed, deep bath, robes and slippers a bonus. Food good in bar. Lovely well maintained grounds.
We booked for dinner in the bar but a table didn’t appear to be ready and one we were shown to was not clean. Staff however were excellent. Bartender had to be reminded that id ordered a drink (bar was not busy and he was very apologetic) Food at buffet breakfast was lukewarm so would order from the menu next time.
Beautiful setting with spectacular views.
Friendly staff
Service charge, small bathroom
Beautiful peaceful building with lovely staff.
Fantastic location just a short drive from Perth. Rooms were very comfortable and perfect for our stay. Staff were attentive without being over bearing. I enjoyed drinks at the front of the hotel overlooking the golf course while my partner played a round - he was thrilled that there were 2 courses to choose from.
Breakfast was a little underwhelming. I expected a better selection on the Continental.
Location great, views fantastic, stunning property in a stunning area!
Had to ask to move rooms due to poor view and smell which was eventually granted but after being told no rooms were available, the hotel wasn't full by a by means! Being forced to eat from the same menu three nights out of three due to the closing of other restaurants at the hotel. Understandably you can't have three restaurants open with a small number of diners so just offer an increased menu ch...Read more
