Absolutely loved the stay at the Monte Real hotel! Its the best family friendly hotel we’ve stayed at so far! They have an animal farm, baby play room, table tennis, playstation room, inflatable castle, activities for kids, besides the regular swimming pool and spa. The staff is very friendly and flexible! (we asked to checkout later since our toddler only starts his nap at 12pm) Great overall exp...
the only problem were the flies (proximity to the woods - which is also great!)Read more
Good breakfast with quality food. Short on variety of hams and cheese, but what was available had good quality. Lot's of rooms to entertain kids: room with one ping pong table, another room with a PS4, plus a small kids play room. Hotel rooms are in a new building, which is quite nice. Calm and quiet hotel, despite family friendly with lots of kids. No noise. They have a mini zoo with rabits, goat...
The hotel is labeled "Hotel Thermes and Spa"... Well, we learned that the thermes are closed for over 10 years (the nearby river contaminated the spring), so there are no public or private thermes you can use. The spa uses regular company water. Also, for a place that is labeled as "Thermal and Spa" you would imagine water fountains or similar, but there was a complete lack of water - everything w...Read more
Loved everything. A perfect place to rest. Staff extremely friendly and helpful
Room comfortable; access helpful; facilities well presented; staff supportive.
The Termas were not available and we were not advised of that absence on booking and the effect of their long term closure on Monte Real and it’s facilities such as restaurants.
Friendly staff, size of rooms, aircon, pillows, quality of sheets, clean. Decor, bar lounge, pool area.
Mattresses are the only complaint. They are very very hard and uncomfortable.
First and foremost, you're surrounded by nature. If you are planning to recharge your batteries, this is the perfect place to do it. Can't recommend the restaurant enough, we didn't feel like going out for dinner and it was the best decision we made. PS, if you do eat in, try the Raffaelos. They are otherworldly.
That's not on the hotel itself but on the location, but Monte Real has very little to offer. However, if you're just planning to stay in and use the facilities, this stops being a problem. The minigolf was lacking in maintenance.
Location was perfect - next to the nature is the best what could be.
Breakfast had not many options.
Spacious rooms and very clean and well maintained hotel and green area around it. Beautiful spots just for the walks around. Spa area very relaxing and quiet
Breakfast could have bit more veggie choices and I'll suggest better pillows menu for the rooms.
Very quiet hotel. Comfortable bed.
Breakfast room was quite chilly.
