great ,stunning location .a walking distance to the main area in the town of Cortona .The gentleman in the bar area was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting a bit with him !
finding the place was not straight forward ,and parking very tight for bigger cars!

It’s just classy. Every detail has been carefully thought out.
The drive into the hotel car park - period. I’m an experienced driver and the narrow streets and hills once in the walled city are a nightmare. Our clutch was smelling at the end of it!
Quite the perfect stay. Lovely staff (Simona and Alice, we love you!), gorgeous place, exquisite services and attentions. The room was also spot on. A true ten out of ten.

The room was so comfortable and THAT SHOWER, breakfast was amazing and the pool was such a blessing with the heat.

If you are not familiar with traveling around Italy, please rent a small car to visit this location. Streets are narrow but doable.
It was cool, clean, characterful and the staff were amazing.
Fabulous stay here the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area is quiet and very comfortable. Good food and bar, room was kept super clean and tidy. Great location right in Cortona so it’s easy to wander into town for dinner. It’s a haven from the busy life outside.
Driving to the hotel is easy when you know how but the car gps can’t handle it very well. Precise details for driving to the hotel parking would be very useful.
This was our second stay at this beautiful hotel. The service is exceptional. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that all guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. The breakfast is fabulous - the service, presentation, variety, generous portions, and food quality. The attention to detail is remarkable and greatly enhances the guest experience.
Everything was perfect! My husband and I will return to Tuscany and will plan to stay at Monastero di Cortona!
