We loved the location, the view. Food platter for vegetarians was a little less but was better than all our stays in Sri Lanka. The lake view rooms are the best, you can watch sunrise from your bed only.

Room heater didn't work for the whole night. Complained but staffs just ignored it. Buffet (dinner) isn't good. Breakfast is okay. Location and surrounding is good.

During my stay, I found that the room was quite cold, and the provided radiator took some time to heat the space. It may be due to the high altitude in Nuwara Eliya, but I’m not sure if this is a common issue across all accommodations. We were allotted a terrible suffocating dingy room in old wing so we asked them to change which they did in the new wing so we were fine. So one has to be lucky!! This change made me change my opinion about the hotel, otherwise I wouldn’t have recommended this hotel. Everything else was average but was value for the money we paid
