Pros (+) Beautiful venue, masterfully renovated castle. Dinner was stellar and staff and the room exceeded our expectations. A very worthwhile experience for a special occasion or if you want to spoil yourself and feel like kings and queens!

Pros (+) This is a WOW place. No question. It was a 'long and windy road' to get there but I think that's the norm. Most amazing places aren't on the beaten path and that feels right. If you stay you will love the transformation to what exists today. There is a quiet and refined elegance here that is rare. Of all the places we stayed in Scotland, this was the most memorable. Pros (+) Fantastic setting, the menu has matured over the last 2 years and is now becoming innovative but remains true to its Scottish roots. Lovely staff who couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is well maintained and feels refined but also glamorous. It's not dwarfed by the setting..

Pros (+) The food was brilliant - the 5 course dinner was one of the best meals we have ever had . The breakfast was also superb. The staff were excellent and very friendly. Nothing to fault at all.

Pros (+) Thé location is amazing, 13th century castle perched on a cliff top almost at the end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Not easy to reach but worth it! The food is exceptional, matching the best we’ve eaten anywhere and the staff are lovely

Pros (+) Dinner was incredible. Book the 8 course and thank me later. Great wine list and fairly priced spirits.
Cons (-) The only thing I would request is with the bed. The linens were very comfortable and the bed itself fit the room perfectly. The mattress felt…a bit past it’s prime and we rolled into each other all evening.
