Incredible location ( and I spent a long time worrying about where to book!) Walking distance to so many areas and about 5mins walk to Namba station. Shops, little arcades and restaurants right outside the door of the hotel, as well as 7eleven, so close, and Lawsons, too, so no need to have to use the metro with tired children, at night! The location was fantastic. It was close to a lot facilities (malls, shops, restaurants, convenience stores) and easy access to the metro. A lot of tourist attractions are also within walking distance.
Great apt for a family of 4, walking distance from Namba train station which made it so easy with our bags when arriving from Osaka. Spacious by Japan standards, seperate bedroom with bunks. A sitting area where we had room to dump our 4 bags without falling over them. Close to all the main areas, Shinsaibashi, Kuromon Market etc. we loved walking the backstreets and finding cool shops. Location was great, and great theme for the hotel.
The room was much smaller than other mimaru stays for 6 people. Limited space to open suitcases, a little bit of privacy etc.

Living room is a little bit smaller than what I expected.
The location was excellent, short walking distance to the train station(s) and very walkable to convenient stores, restaurants, mall (for kid's play area). We would get groceries and make breakfast in the room.
We are very spoiled with coffee living in Seattle and finding a good coffee shop with alternative milk selections was difficult to find. Would love it if the MIMARU rooms had like a Nespresso machine as most cafes open later.
The location was within walking distance of all the main areas of OSAKA, and despite being in the buzzing hub, it was relatively quiet from our room. It was pretty easy to reach via train (about 7-minute walk). The staff was lovely and friendly, and we even participated in a "treasure hunt" game in the hotel (recommended by the staff)- which made it fun! They were very helpful with our needs. What...
Seeing that OSAKA rains a lot, some umbrella dryer or plastic would be helpful as we would not want it dripping all over the rooms. Also, some consistency among MIMARUs would be great we stayed at MIMARU Kyoto, and they offered pyjamas, but here, they did not. But this WOULD NOT stop us from returning.Read more
