My stay at Merivale Manor was my first introduction to New Zealand! The facility and customer service was outstanding. Warm, clean rooms that were restocked each day.

Short walk to merivale shops with great restaurants & bars
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, could walk to the places we visited. Amazing shops down the road. Room was perfect. Very comfy bed, and having an electric blanket was 10/10. The spa bath was a great asset.
We weren't staying longer. Would love to have had a look at the library in a manor house.
Lovely comfortable bed and room with fully equipped kitchen area and nice luxury touches, immaculately clean. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great location with nice shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away.
Breakfast good. Location terrific. Staff really helpful. We would definitely stay again if in Christchurch. When booking the site was a bit misleading I’m not specifying that the rooms were not in the house.
