Very historic hotel, perfect location. They gave me us an up grade for the best room and a wine (to my birthday) so lovely! The view from the room was amazing, loking at city center and Siguisoara tower... thank you!!! everything was perfect
The hotel has an absolutely cute decor, the rooms were spacious & clean, great location. Nearly all off the staff- especially the bar personnel, Calman from the breakfast room, reception personnel ( with one exception) were very nice and accommodating . Breakfast was good, beds comfortable Despite several aspects that could have been better for a 4 star hotel, we enjoyed our stay very much
First of all we were disappointed (because we’re wine lovers)to find out that the vaulted wine cellar and bar was not operating ( special occasions only -in opposition to description of the hotel) The next thing -the spa area( one of the reasons we booked this hotel) is in dear need of ‘touch’ up/ repair . The hotel is located very close to the fortress square, where all attractions can be found. The parking is spacious. My room was very large, especially compared to other hotels' rooms (~50 sqm). Staff is very polite, especially the staff from the a la carte restaurant.
Breakfast is on the average side, it could see a bit more diversity, but definitely not something to be concerned about.

Rooms, service, location and breakfast: everything was top notch, which you can't necessarily expect from every Mercure hotel. But the absolute highlight was a massage by ‘Doinita’ and ‘Vali’ – super friendly, professional and soothing. Highly recommended!
The best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of the receptionist Madalin and the barkeeper/waitress. Madalin helped me out with multiple issues and language questions on several occasions. I was a bit disappointed by the spa. It was much smaller than I had expected and both the sauna and the hot tub were not as hot as I would have liked them. Personally, I also prefer smaller and softer pillows than the large, thick one that was available.Read more

This is great hotel in the middle of town center. The room is good, food is good, service is excellent. They have own private parking lot.
