Beautiful Building the rooms were super we had an epic view of the Matterhorn in a Spa Room
Nothing not to like - it’s a little out of town so night taxis can be expensive however it is walkable .

Super friendly staff. Always with a smile and very helpful. Also hotel interior and rooms nicely designed..
terrible location, relies on walk to bus station where totally overcrowded busses come at unfrequent rates.. or taking totally overpriced (50 francs per ride) taxis.. Location is a total let down.. :-( Only way to fix this would be provide shuttle services for the guests which don't exist (except for pick-up from train station)
It was a magical experience in Zermatt and matthiol, staff was so welcoming and helpful.
If you want to access the spa and stay on the side of the hotel, you have to cross restaurants via the lobby in the bath robe.

- spa facilities where confusing and did not have a pool but instead weird spa areas - reception should always have someone in place, especially during late arrivals - other hotels restaurants and bars stay open till 12 - had to carry our luggage’s ourselves to the room - bad checking experience - hotel tried to overcharge as for the massage which we cancelled 1 day before - not a ski in ski out h...Read more

The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful at all times, the room was lovely, steam room and sauna in the room were a plus, even though you have them for free in the hotel spa. Balcony was the most beautiful feature of the room specially when it snows! Breakfast was delicious as well Outdoor jacuzzi is a great experience! Overall very satisfied
The hotel is located at the end of zermatt and on a hill, visiting the village center at night was inconvenient because buses don’t work at night and the hotel only offers a shuttle car at check in and check out, so we had to walk up the hill for 20 minutes. I would consider offering a shuttle service for guests during day and night specially that taxis are so expensive ! It would cost around 60 F...Read more

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at, hands down. The service from the staff is truly exceptional, the location is stunning with the view of Matterhorn and in the quiet serenity of the alps. The hotel itself has a very warm, cozy, classy feel, kitted out with a gym and spa my husband used daily, a tub in our room, a lovely cozy bar with hot chocolate by the fire, amazing breakfast include...
