What an amazing hotel this is! A private island paradise and an experience you won’t get anywhere else. Isolated from everything and just surrounded by the beautiful views Fiji has to offer. We loved our visit to Matangi. All of the staff were really friendly and we loved spending the day at Horseshoe Bay with a private picnic. Kayaking with dolphins will be a lasting memory.

We traveled through Australia before ending our trip at Matangi Resort for two nights. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to get back to our kids. Matangi is a beautiful private resort, run by fantastic staff who make every wish their mission. We had a beach bure and we could just walk out and swim. Every day had activities and things to do, plus there was the fabulous included food. Reccomended.

Pros (+) My partner and I had the most amazing stay at Matangi Island. It far exceeded our expectations. From the natural beauty of the island, to the wonderful staff, stunning bure's and incredible food, we could not fault our stay. I think it is one of the most special places I have travelled to.
Cons (-) Maybe the choice of wines could be improved

Pros (+) It's really perfect private place, best in the region. Service and care are at top World level, that could be possible on remote island. Meals quality should get 1-2 Michelin stars, it was perfect for 4 days in a line, 3 times a day, totally all dishes. A lot of beach amenities and places to feel harmony. Dont look, that price is higher, than in competitors, competitors would charge you for everyt...

Pros (+) Beautiful location; very private accommodations. We stayed in one of the treehouses and it was very private, spacious, and clean.
Cons (-) I think they limit internet access to improve your stay (so you're not on your devices all the time), but if you need it, it's only located in the main pavillion and it's fairly pricey. One device is included, but additional devices are fairly expensive. For the price, would have expected transfers from airport to be included similar to comparable properties we stayed at in Fiji.
