The hotel and grounds are fine, well separated from the main road, dog friendly, and most of the staff were great fun. Meals were not cheap, but well cooked and presented.
Our welcome was not friendly and left a bad impression for our stay. The room was also hot and airless, needing the fan provided, and sleep was poor.
Staff really friendly both to us and our dog Ronnie! Location fab for both Scotland and Northumberland. Food was lovely and well presented.
Nothing to dislike - room was rather warm but a fan was provided. Maybe a few more 'classics' could be added to the dinner menu?

Lovely hotel, tastefully decorated, friendly, helpful staff, great service, good food. Large, comfy bedroom, large bathroom with huge walk in shower. Both rooms tatefully decorated and well appointed. Enjoyed relaxing in the outside seating areas and gardens. Location close to sea. Complimentary mini bar, a nice bonus.
We absolutely loved staying here, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Lovely room with a great view, the food was unbelievable, all the staff were so friendly, we just had the best time.

Room was very comfortable, and the setting is gorgeous. Great views. High quality shower, and very clean and welcoming. The food and wine were outstanding and reasonably priced, and the service very friendly and approachable.
Perhaps at the upper end of pricing for the room.

Beautiful house, comfortable, spotless and very spacious. The staff work seamlessly as a team and without exception were kind, thoughtful and efficient. They made our stay perfect.
