Where to begin? The location is great, conveniently located 25 mins away from the Cancun airport. The entrance to the property is sophisticated and welcoming, yet not ostentatious. The property is tucked away from the main road and you feel in a bubble, away from the hustle and bustle of Cancun & PdC. The décor is tasteful and the focus is one's wellbeing and nature. this is being very particular one day we got a bit unlucky and had poor service for breakfast but i feel this was an exception and not worthy of any real critique the food in woodend - the meat is cooked amazing . i felt some of the sides /accompaniments lacked a touch of flavor ( pork ) . but again that’s being very picky
The location is great and feels secluded, staff we’re all excellent. We had a beach side suite which was spacious and straight onto the beach. The best bed I think I’ve ever slept in!
This hotel has great facilities, staff, great food but it’s very expensive especially for food in an evening, you are there to relax so you don’t leave the hotel, so you have to eat there.
Every part of our stay was perfect down to every last detail! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive—we didn’t have to lift a finger :)The staff literally took care of everything. Food was excellent in every regard and the property was immaculate. We’d return to stay at Maroma without a second thought.

The service was fantastic. It rained at lot every day of our trip but the staff was so nice and accommodating we still had a great stay.
Wonderful experience in every way. The attentiveness of the staff, the authenticity of everyone we met, the excellent food, comfort of the room were all outstanding. But, the most special part of the experience was the subtle Mayan influence that clearly, for those of us who are healers, found quite wonderful. We celebrated our 36 years of marriage in Maroma.

Unrivaled service. There is not the word No in their vocabulary. The restaurants are exceptional and the setting is ideal. The place is perfect for relaxation and to switch off.

This is the best and most beautiful hotel we have ever been so far.. Everyone in the hotel is extremely caring and nice, food is amazing, every restaurant is unique, the level on detail is perfect! We can’t wait to go back! Special thanks to Rosita and Julio for all the advices and excellent treatment. Gracias por todo!
Leaving, next time I wanna stay for a month minimum
Staff, setting, vibe, intimate size.... Wonderful beach and jungle setting. Yoga on the roof, terrific snorkeling, terrific food. Will definitely return.

I’ve been to several Belmond in Europe and North America, this one doesn’t meet my expectation of a Belmond. The staff were nice, but the property itself is very much sub standard for a Belmond.
