The whole place is brilliant, right on the beach. The food and staff were excellent. Not a lot of steps which is great, we had a friend with us with mobility issues and he was able to manage well.
The laundry service wasn't great. Clothes away for 3 days and multiple requests made for the return. Finally returned the day of checkout still wet and required rewashing.
this is an amazing gem of a resort, staff is amazing, food is amazing, food is made to order, wait is a bit longer but all so worth it. I spend an hour in the kitchen with the chef Nicolas who showed me how a dish was made, and I can tell you, nothing is fresher and more tasteful than food at this resort, would love to stay there again soon, DON'T miss out on this amazing property, GEM of Zanzibar

The service here was amazing, very attentive staff. Very big food and drinks menu which we never got bored of. Little touches like providing mosquito repellent and spraying rooms at night really made the trip even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!
We were extremely satisfied with our stay and the services at the hotel. The accommodation in the three-bed Deluxe room was excellent. That place was my kitesurfing secret spot. Was, because they kicked out the only kite club that was set directly next to the lagoon (it shows up during low tide). Quiet place with 2 swimming pools. Breakfast was OK.
Lots of people smoking cigarettes even in the dining area and management was not reacting on that. They do have excellent place for kiting - the lagoon in front of the hotel - but sadly they kicked out the kite club that was there and the ppl working in the kite club were super friendly and helpful. This place has a perfect design. 2 dining areas overlooking a central pool but all surrounded by gorgeous palm trees and overlooking the sea. The breakfast area is set further back whereas the main bar and dining area is close to the beach and has a lovely atmosphere. Water pressure was very low in the shower so took ages to shower. I still will come back the place is so lovely. Also mattresses did not agree with my back, but could just be a personal preference.Read more
The food was always amazing and very much enjoyed. The rooms are very clean, neat and comfortable. Room attendants and FOH staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Sometimes early morning one can find bits and pieces of rubbish (papers and wrappers of sweets, etc.) lying around the garden area and alongside the pathways.
