We really enjoyed our short stay at Malolo island resort. The staff were all very helpful and made the effort to know us. The only downside was the food was pretty expensive, and just okay rather than great. Would return.

We had a great time there as a couple but could see it would be an excellent place to bring kids. One thing probably worth mentioning which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some? The main dining area where breakfast is served daily and also buffets, does have quite a number of steps to reach it? Just a heads up for those with limited mobility? Summing up….lovely staff, great band, nice food...

Wow loved everything about Malolo The beachfronts rooms were very comfortable supplying all that was needed The food in all restaurants had a great variety. The best part was our quality family time with daughter & grandkids with many activities supplied 🙏🙏🙏

Wonderful family resort!! We meet our daughter husband & grandkids here. Plenty of activities and way too much food. We had an issue with our meal plan which resort didn’t want to honour even though pre ordered which wasted a day of our holiday time trying to sort out the issue which was finally sorted after a few emails to head office with thanks !! All in all a great stay

Pros (+) Meals were good. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful
Cons (-) It was was advertised as an adult only resort on Bookings.com. When we got there, it was discovered that it was family friendly. Misleading by Bookings.com. The resort had a shop but it had a very limited range. For example there were no bathing wear for women.

They upgraded us to the honeymoon suite as our first room was too close to the hustle and bustle for us (although another family were extremely happy to be close to here as it worked great for the kids). Cons (-) Everything was beautiful. Of course this is a more expensive resort but you get what you pay for. The only thing we would say is that the beach wasn't the best, it is on the smaller side and is quite rocky, so just take some beach shoes. This is not just malolo though, we found all the beaches in Fiji to be rocky. We ended up spending most of our lounging time at the pool instead.
