Beautiful in every way. Fantastic architecture and interiors - everything thought out perfectly. Two infinity pools, plus one at the delightful spa. My friend and I were able to book a spacious room with 2 queen size beds. Most resorts we looked at only had the option of a king bed. Really beautiful property and the garden view room we stayed in was huge. Also, it had one of the largest bathrooms I have ever had on vacation. The food & staff was excellent!
Although the menu at the various restaurants were excellent, it felt limited after a couple of days and we ventured off property often.
The setting of the hotel is magical. Location can’t be beat. Interiors are stunning. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking Meads Bay. The staff was very friendly and they had fun characters. The location on Mead's Bay is fantastic, short walk to restaurants and bars (highly recommend Blanchard's sit down restaurant for dinners and Straw Hat for breakfasts). The Malliouhana property also has many beach areas (some private, some public) so you feel like you have different options everyday whether you want to lay out, snorkel, swim, etc. The options allow so you rarely bump into other gu...
I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like but I would recommend more lay flat loungers at the adult pool. Really only 4 loungers that lay flat and they are first come first serve. At the least, replace the fixed loungers in the water to be lay flat loungers to provide more space for those looking to sun in the adult pool area. The service was beyond impeccable. The location and views are probably the best on the island. Exquisite beaches on either side of property.
Some facilities not finished after hurricane. The dinner menu could have used some more variety, though the food was delicious.
