The location was local for us, but worth a stay, the hotel was beuatiful and alll the staff went out of their way to be nore than helpful. the room was amazing, the Spa was excelent, the setting of the hotel is so peaceful.
there is nothing to note that we didn't like, the food, sercice, and the accomadation was superb. I would reccomnd to all my family and friends to stay nat the Hotel.
Staff members were fantastic! They made our stay so enjoyable … friendly , attentive & thoughtful . Thank you to Mharie, Dougy & Kinga!

The best home ( hotel) we ever have stayed in. We felt that we visit a nice friend. And adding the most fascinating golf course i have been playing. And i have been playing a lot of golf courses around the world🥇🏌♂️😀 Göran Kroon

attentiveness from the staff. chauffeur was thoughtful. location, room and hot tub was splendid.
the steak was over done. the plug for the air con was american - luckily we had a adapter.
Overall the location was very scenic and beautiful.
The room that I had was too small and the staircase very narrow. There were no lifts. The staff looking after us for breakfast could not comply with a lot of our minor requests. They promised to give us some special breakfast items the next day but did not do so.
Setting was beautiful. Room was nice.
Whole experience was bizarre. Very few staff. We searched for someone to check us in. Finally found one young man, who said to give him a few minutes because he was driving guests to the clubhouse. We later learned that we had to drive, or be driven to the clubhouse for meals and bar. Room floor had hair and dust when we first got in, we had to request that it be vacuumed.
This hotel is amazing! A very special experience indeed. Old school charm, quality and customer service, the likes of which cannot be found in any large chain hotel, even those 5 start ones. brilliant room. we had use of the hot tub in McLeod House. also staff where happy to give shuttles around the estate.
my girlfriend was very disappointed that there was. no gym facilities. also we expected to have breakfast included with our stay in the lodge.
