The location is very nice with an incredible view of the city. Room is quite large with a large comfortable bed. Given that most hotels in Patagonia fall significantly behind with repairs and maintenance it was comparatively well maintained (still not up to the standards of a 4 star hotel in europe).
There was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom, we notified reception and the solution was to place an air freshener in the bathroom, which masked the problem a bit but not completely. Tap water is not drinkable and has a slight muddy tint to it from the soil. Dinner at the restaurant was only OK.

The only two minor downsides worth mentioning: Breakfast – Given the hotel’s standard, I expected a touch more luxury—perhaps made-to-order eggs, a wider selection of hams and cheeses, or even some smoked salmon. Bathroom amenities – This is more of an Argentina-specific detail than a hotel issue, but there was no shower gel provided—only bar soap. However, shampoo and conditioner were available.Read more
The view from my room of Ushuaia skyline with the mountains and sea was fabulous.
The front desk attendant didn’t seem to like his job and so wasn’t as helpful as he could have been.
Amazing views from everywhere in the hotel. Great rooms, staff and meals. We were concerned about being 'out of town' but combination of free hotel shuttle and readily available uber made this an non issue and definetly worth it for the views.
