Very nice - the central court is very pleasant and gives opportunity to relax and enjoy the place. Conveniently located for the access to the University Campus, and also to the shopping and restaurant district. Room pleasant with a nice combination of morn equipment and classic old American style
Great outdoor spaces and we like the location close to a dog park and some other restaurants and cafes. The live music at the restaurant/bar is nice. Pool is welcome in the summer. They're dog friendly, and the service is excellent.
They've started charging for parking, which is unpleasant and should be included at these room prices. I also don't like that they charge some sort of resort fee, though at least they make that worth a credit at the restaurant, so if you have a couple of drinks, I suppose it breaks even.
The bathroom was listed as "accessible" but had NO BARS The other room, not listed as "accessible" DID have bars. Go figure

Rooms smelled amazing. Beds were soft.
Parking is advertised as free complimentary on site parking but is actually $27 per night. Blankets were thin with no extras in the room. Was also pretty loud being on the ground floor until about midnight.
I love all the hotels in the Valencia collection. The Lone Star Court is thoughtfully decorated and unbelievably comfortable. if you want a peaceful, comfortable, really enjoyable safe experience, stay here. The only downside to this hotel is if you need to go to an event in downtown Austin, you'll need to be prepared to Uber everywhere. If you don't mind, then you're good! I had to attend a wedding in downtown Austin and while it would have been more convenient to stay closer to downtown, you honestly cannot beat how amazing this hotel is and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.Read more
The great outdoor seating, the rooms were fabulous. The staff was very nice and helpful!
There were lots of kids running around unsupervised. Eventually management did say something- but it went on a while.
Hidden fees, contrary to management NOT disclosed and ONLY added after check out! Undisclosed fees were billed and only showed up a day after check out. Management unhelpful, when contacted initially told would be refunded but never happened.
I love the outside activities.
