The property was lovely & clean , great decor . The spa was amazing & the breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of choice continental & a great choice off the menu. Staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Paying for parking at a hotel that is not in a central location, it's a large hotel set in good grounds, so parking should be included. The receptionist on check-in could have been more friendly, also the spa receptionist in the morning was unwelcoming. The rest of the staff at the hotel, including the manager, were brilliant.
Everything! I would and already have recommended others to book a stay here. I literally couldn’t fault anything about our stay. All staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel decorated well and kept clean. Breakfast fantastic. Spa area amazing. I will be going back to stay again.

What an absolute gem! Great staff, very comfortable and clean room, fantastic food (breakfast was the best we’ve had) and the Spa was pure luxury. We’re already looking at dates for our return!
It would have been even better to eat in the restaurant in the evening- the Brasserie was lovely but a bit of a corridor!
First Room we stayed is called Cousy Room, it was like a pokey room and ended up upgrading to bigger room. Breakfast is average similar to a street BB Dinner is not exiting as the same menu every night, we decided to eat out after one night dinner.
Rooms are not that grate, services are average, you have to order your drink at the bar rather than waiter services in the lounge. We have to upgrade our room due to confined area and also departed earlier than expected due to lack of interest in the place.
The facilities and location were lovely. In a leafy part of Torquay..very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful location and hotel and spa are amazing. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautiful clean and everything you need for your stay. The spa was very quiet and relaxing and the ladies that did our treatments were lovely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel and spa.

Don’t go if you don’t look posh or (good enough) to use there facilities. I’m Scottish and feel like I was discriminated against. I also informed them I had PTSD. They decided my symptoms were not from my PTSD and were me being “aggressive”. I assure people I have never ever been aggressive to anyone.
They treat you like rubbish if you are not of money and if you have any issues the manager Peter and other reception staff are very condescending.
The spa and the grounds were absolutely breath taking and beautiful.
The only negative I can say was my mattress was really hard which has given me a bad back. Also the bathrooms in the rooms were slightly plain and outdated which does not match the rest of the hotels vibe.
